I’m Alex — an illustrator and graphic designer with 17 years of experience, and the founder of Happy Elephant Creative. I started the studio in 2017, originally as a way to build a career that worked around my two little ones. They’re not so little anymore, and neither is the business. Over the years it’s grown into something I’m genuinely proud of: a place where creativity, clarity, and purpose come together.

These days, I’m especially drawn to working with people and organisations who want to make a positive impact — whether that’s through education, community work, wellbeing, or simply putting something good into the world. Illustration and design are my tools, but the real joy comes from helping others communicate their message in a way that feels honest, thoughtful, and beautifully crafted.
